True Blue Bay Boutique Resort now offers guests carbon-free transportation

One of Grenada’s most climate-smart resorts, True Blue Bay Boutique Resort, recently acquired their first zero-emission electric 7-seater minibus - A Nissan e-NV200 Evalia. This van, which can drive up to 100 miles before requiring a recharge, will be used for the boutique Resort’s airport transfers and beach shuttle service.

The electric minibus is charged using a solar power charging station near the resort’s lobby. Free charging for any other electric vehicles on the island is also now available at the resort upon request.

True Blue Bay Boutique Resort has proven itself to be a champion for sustainable business growth and development in the Caribbean region. It uses solar energy to run a substantial amount of its operations and opened Grenada’s first block of climate-smart rooms and suites in early 2019. The electric minibus is the newest addition to the resort’s efforts to become a completely carbon-neutral operation.
