Getting Members’ Involvement

The decision was taken to reduce the ceiling on membership dues from $15,000 to $10,000.

Bi-Monthly Members Meetings will be held at properties to include those of members outside of the St George’s area in order to increase their attendance at meetings of members in outer parishes and get them more involved.

As from March 2013 bi-monthly cocktail events will be arranged at various venues to which members and persons in the Government will be invited. Non-Members will be invited in order for them to have the opportunity to dialogue with members with a view toward encouraging them to join the GHTA. Sponsorship of these events will be sorted by the office.

Social Events such as a Family Day, Cruise on Carib Cats/Shadow Fax, Night at Bar at Fort Matthew and Moonlight Picnics will be arranged. This will require membership support and a Sub-Committee will be formed to put together ideas and assist the office staff at the events. Members prepared to help can contact the office.
