Travel Writers – Tour Operators – Travel Agents Visits Hosted by GHTA Members in 2012
Hotel and Restaurant members provided accommodation and meals for several groups of International Travel Writers, Travel Agents and Tour Operators from the UK, US and Canadian markets during 2013 as well as providing prizes for competitions. Hosting of these groups and the provision of prizes all helped the Government of Grenada with destination marketing and added up to a saving for the Grenada Board of Tourism to a total of US $180,000. In addition GHTA Allied members provided tours of the island’s attractions free of cost for these important guests, unfortunately the GHTA does not have a dollar value for these tours.
