GHTA Elected New Board of Directors

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA - October 29, 2014 - The Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association is please to announce 2014 - 2016 new Board of Directors. The new Board of Directors was elected at the 52nd Annual General Meeting held at the Flamboyant Hotel & Villas on Tuesday 28 October, 2014.

2014 - 2016 Board of Directors are as follows:

As part of the GHTA’s Compete Caribbean Project, the GHTA was trilled to receive the ‘Pure Grenada Brand Bible’, which was delivered by Russ Jarman Price, Chairman, Inglefield, Ogilvy & Mather Caribbean. The Minister of Tourism, Alexandra Otway-Noel stated “I want to thank Russ Jarman Price for handing over this beautiful job that he has done. It was a wonderful collaboration with people who are passionate about Grenada and have fallen in love with it.”

Data received from the GHTA Membership was presented by Jennifer Alexis, Consultant for the GHTA, revealing the areas of the industry that is improving and those which needs improving. “We know that there are things that the Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association would like to see the government do. We want to help you do these thing. We have limitations but we are out there and we are working.” says Minister Otway-Noel.

The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation tasked with being the representative private sector voice of the island’s tourism sector. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors responsible for guiding the Association’s strategies and polices, while an Executive Director responsible for the day-to-day duties of the Association manages the secretariat.
