The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) is a non-profit, member-based organization representing Grenada’s hotel and tourism industry. The Association provides diverse services to its members, including advocacy, industry relations, vocational development, standards, training, and enhancing public-private partnerships to bolster our tourism sector.
To encourage and support the sustainable growth of member hotels and tourism-related businesses through lobbying efforts, national and international linkages, access to valuable resources, marketing initiatives, and training opportunities.

Built between 1706 and 1710, Fort George is considered the most important historical structure in St. George’s for its part in all the political and military changes that took place on the island over the last three hundred years. Originally named Fort Royal, it was renamed Fort George in 1763, in honour of King George III when the British took possession of the island.
