The Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association (GHTA) is inviting bartenders employed by GHTA member establishments to audition for a coveted spot on the 2026 GHTA Culinary Team. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to represent Grenada at Taste of the Caribbean 2026 in Barbados.
“We’re looking for creative, skilled and personable bartenders who can showcase Grenada’s flavors on the regional stage,” said GHTA CEO, Arlene Friday. “After Team Grenada placed 2nd overall in 2025, we’re eager to build on that success and raise the bar even higher.”
Competition categories
- Rum Cocktail: Create a unique twist on a classic rum cocktail.
- Non-Alcoholic Cocktail: Showcase Grenada in a glass with an original alcohol-free creation.
- Mystery Bar Mix Challenge: Think fast and create under pressure using surprise ingredients.
Application requirements
- EC$20 application fee
- Rum cocktail recipe
- Non-alcoholic cocktail recipe
- Cocktail photos
- 1-2 min introductory video showcasing drinks and your skills
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently employed by a GHTA member hotel, restaurant, bar or tourism-related business. Only five bartenders will be selected for live competition.
