GHTA Congratulates Team Pure Grenada’s Gold Win at the 2023 RHS Chelsea Flower Show
(St. George’s, Grenada) – GHTA is thrilled to celebrate the magnificent achievement of Team Pure Grenada, led by Ms. Cathy John, who have secured their 16th Gold Medal at the 2023 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show with their exhibition, “Tribute to Grenada’s Greenery Reserves.”
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, touted as the world’s most prestigious horticultural event, provides a global platform for the best in garden design. Every year, renowned florists and plant enthusiasts from all over the world gather in Chelsea, London, to present and admire spectacular floral displays.
Among all of the beautiful floral arrangements from across the world, Grenada’s unique and creative displays shined brightest among them. This accomplishment further solidifies Grenada’s esteemed reputation in the international floriculture world. The triumph is a testament to the creative excellence, dedication, and collaborative efforts of all involved, including significant contributions from members of GHTA’s Floriculture Cluster Project: Cocodee Natural Farm & Garden, Smithy’s Garden, Tower Estate, and many others.
GHTA’s Tourism Enhancement Fund is honored to have been a significant contributor to this project; showcasing Grenada’s unique and vibrant botanical heritage on the world stage. This success highlights the importance of our local floriculture industry and the invaluable role it plays in promoting Grenada’s diverse natural beauty.
